Meet the Author: Steven Capsuto

When Einstein Met Kafka – written by Diego Moldes and translated by Steven Capsuto – is a scholarly and highly informative exploration of the major contributions Jews have made to the modern world. It highlights hundreds of Jewish figures who shaped the sciences and humanities over the last 250 years. Steven Capsuto translates from Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, French, and Ladino into English. He has served as the primary Ladino-to-English translator for The Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization (Yale University Press). His most recent book translation was Amazonia by Sebastião Salgado.
