Meet Nice Jewish Girls, an NYC social club for Jewish women in their 20s and 30s

In a city buzzing with activity and ambition, a group of young Jewish women in their 20s and 30s have carved out a space for genuine connection. The social club, aptly named Nice Jewish Girls, was founded by NYC native Arielle Haspel as a way to help women build meaningful friendships rooted in shared culture, values, and community.

Unlike traditional singles mixers or synagogue meetups, this club focuses on non-dating, community-centered experiences—from challah bakes and comedy shows to Shabbat dinners and rooftop parties. Members say it’s refreshing to find a place that prioritizes joy, Jewish identity, and the art of simply showing up.

Haspel launched the group after hearing from dozens of Jewish women who felt isolated or disconnected from Jewish life in the city. With over 2,000 members now, Nice Jewish Girls is growing fast—powered by group chats, real-life events, and a strong dose of New York chutzpah.

As more young professionals seek meaningful social lives outside of dating apps and work obligations, groups like this are becoming a vital part of modern Jewish community building.
