The Role of Fasting in Jewish and Muslim Traditions

Celebrate Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, and Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting, at a festive community ritual Iftar meal. Blessings will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Mohammad Homayounvash and featuring Rabbi Rachel Greengrass, Rabbi Jessica Jacobs, Dr. Iqbal Akhtar and Dr. Yasemin Saib.
